Booking Conditions Bay Royal Apartments
Deposit and Final Payment
50% of the quoted Tariff is required for the Deposit. This can be paid immediately by Credit Card. A Credit Card Number is required on Check in for security purposes.
Balance payable on arrival Bay Royal has a NO CASH policy. We accept Eftpos, Master & Visa cards. Please note we do not accept cheques as final payment and for group bookings we are unable to split the bill.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation of Booking must be confirmed in writing as the Apartment will be held on your behalf and full Tariff will be charged.
Refunds vary depending on notice given. If booking is cancelled 30 days notice we will refund your deposit less a $50.00 administration fee. If booking is cancelled 29 to 15 days prior to the booking 15% of quoted tariff will be charged. If booking is cancelled 14 days or less prior to the booking no refund will be given.
December / January (Christmas Holidays) Payment / Cancellations
50% of the quoted Tariff is required for the Deposit paid immediately.
An Administration fee of $100.00 will be incurred for any Booking Adjustments after September 30th
for the December/January School Holidays.
Full payment will be required by the 25th October from this date there is NO REFUND or MOVING a booking to other dates. You may still extend or shorten (within our requirements) your stay at the above fee.
Above cancellation applies until an Administration fee of $100.00 will be incurred for any Booking Adjustment /Cancellation after December 31st and NO REFUNDS or MOVING bookings after January 31st (Easter Booking).
In the event of any unforseen circumstances unit allocation may need to be altered to a unit of equal value. Please note that Managers cannot be held responsible should this situation occur.
Maximum numbers of people per apartment apply; Management reserves the right to evict guest if numbers are exceeded.
No refunds will be given on Early Departure.
Please appreciate, there are others close by, to the common areas and your apartment. Visitors must vacate the building by 10.00pm. Excessive noise levels will not be tolerated and Management reserves the right to eject unruly guest. One warning only will be given and thereafter Security will be called to evict. This will incur a charge of $100.00, and no refund will be given for the booking.
* Definition of Noise: If other people can hear your Music, TV and/or Voices from outside your Apartment after 10.00pm, then it is Noise.
Telephone Service/ Fax Service
A telephone is provided in each Apartment for your convenience. The cost of telephone calls is based on hotel/motel rates. A fax is available at reception for your use. Charges will apply for sending and receiving faxes.
Management and Owners take no responsibility for items left on the premises.
All apartments are fitted with a safe. Bay Royal will not be reliable for any loss of valuables.
Bay Royal Apartments advise Guest not to leave Balcony Sliding doors or windows open when not in the Apartment.
Lost Keys & Remotes
Keys that are not returned within 5 working days will be charged to your credit card at $50.00 each.
Apartments 1 & 7 Remotes for Garages that are not returned within 5 working days will be charged to your credit card at $150.00 each.
Pets Although much loved, pets are not allowed.
To avoid extra cleaning charges please leave your Apartment tidy on departure. All Apartments are fully Self-Contained and are required to be left in a clean & tidy condition. Please ensure all dishes, pots & cooking utensils are thoroughly washed, dried & stored in the cupboards.
All rubbish needs to be totally removed prior to departure. Bins are located in the down stairs garage. Recycle bins are the Yellow Lid bins and the industrial bin is for all other rubbish.
Apartments are NOT serviced everyday. A booking of 8 nights or more will receive a Mid Term Clean half way through your stay.
Please leave BBQ Clean & Tidy after use, ready for the next Guest to use.
Smoking is not permitted inside Apartments. Smoking outside on Balconies ONLY. Costs of extra laundering, deodorising of linen/apartments (up to $300.00) will be charged to guests, if smoking is inside Apartments.
Departure is strictly 10am. Overstays will be charged as follows; 1hour = $50; 2 hours =$100; 3 hours or more= 1 days full tariff.
A fee will apply if you require a late departure. This needs to be arranged the day before departure. Arrival is from 2pm.
21 and Under
No booking or tenancy can be accepted for people 21yrs and under unless accompanied by a parent in the Apartment for the duration of your booking.
Bay Royal Apartments wil not take any form of Schoolies Booking, Hens Parties or Bucks Parties.
Management reserves the right to ask you to leave the premises without refund if you or your guests disrupt the enjoyment of other guests.
Management also reserves the right to charge guest for all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning, unpaid expenses and loss of income relating to any damages.
We will not be responsible for any interpretation or misunderstanding about the premises booked and our cancellation policy will apply.
The aim of the Bay Royal Apartments is to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. However we cannot be responsible for actions taken by the owners of the Apartments, which lie outside our control, such as tariff increases, property sale etc.
We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen cancellations.
